Musical theater exposes students to jazz, ballet, lyrical, and other styles found in Broadway musicals.
Broadway Babies

A fun musical theatre class for students ages 3-5. Dancers will be exposed to jazz, ballet, lyrical, and other styles found in Broadway musicals.

Fully potty-trained

Girls who also take Creative Dance in addition to Broadway Babies:
Light pink tights
Girls who take just Broadway Babies:
Light pink tights or plain leggings
Pink leotard
Prima teachers prefer leotards without large mesh cutouts in the midriff and/or down the front center.
Pink ballet shoes
Please ensure ballet shoes have leather, non-slippery bottoms.
Hair in a bun
Students must have their hair up in a slicked-back ballet bun (or off the face and neck for those with shorter hair).

Musical Theater - Primary, 2, 2/3, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Students will be encouraged to adapt to a variety of styles of dance and music while adding expressions to their dancing.

Primary: Kindergarten, 1st or Beginning of 2nd grade
Level 2: Ages 7-9
Level 2/3: Ages 7-11
Level 3: Ages 8-12
Level 4 / 4P: Ages 10–14 (with previous dance experience)
Level 5 & 6: Ages 13–18 (with previous dance experience)

Girls who also take Ballet / Tap in addition to Musical Theatre K-1st: Pink leotard, light pink tights, pink ballet shoes
Please ensure ballet shoes have leather, non-slippery bottoms.
Girls who take just Musical Theatre K-1st: Can wear items above; can also wear a pink leotard, plain leggings, pink ballet shoes
Please ensure ballet shoes have leather, non-slippery bottoms.
All other levels (I.-A.): Solid color leotard, convertible tights or solid color leggings, tan jazz shoes
